Home ยป iPriest Missal

The iPriest project began in 2011 with the release of the third edition of the Roman Missal, when I purchased my first iPad and realised how useful it would be to bring the two together. The first edition that I prepared included most of the musical notations (using the image resolution that was common at that time), but newer editions of the Missal now include a more deeply integrated text (with changing parts of the Eucharistic Prayers integrated into the text, rather than having to try to remember which bits change and then go looking for them in the Propers) but without the musical notations. These editions are called the Special Compact Editions, and are split back into the USA edition and the separate Australian/British edition – like the printed texts. No official approval has been given to use electronic texts in the liturgy, but neither is it likely!
